At the Vancouver Island Conservatory of Music & Arts we strive to see students develop their musical and artistic skills through the highest level of education. It is needless to say how beneficial music and the arts are for humankind. Numerous studies have shown that participation in music and art programs have an extremely positive impact on cognitive and social skills, the ability to master tasks like language skills, memory, and keeping focus. Music facilitates learning, instills respect and pride, and increases self-esteem and social interaction.
Our Conservatory is equally valuable for children as it is for adults. Our programs are a unique opportunity for the Vancouver Island community to learn and be inspired by our fine teachers and artists.
